Goodbye, embroidered blue babouche loafers

I love the idea of you. Soft, unstructured, somewhat delicate looking. The execution leaves something to be desired. I wore you all day today, and I have sore toes that might have blisters when I wake up tomorrow. That is unforgiveable.

My life has no use for "sitting shoes", so off you go to find a new home.

These are gorgeous; too bad they are uncomfortable. Blisters are unacceptable, no matter how nice-looking the shoe.

No more blisters! Goodbye, beautiful shoes.

Beautiful, evil shoes - good riddance!

    They're so pretty, I'm sad :(

There is no room for us support of tight shoes in my life. I know about those sitting shoes I just did a big old Purge of them. Oh farewell shoe it was brief but romantic but you hurt me so it's time to go

Uncomfortable shoes MUST be told to walk away (even if they are pretty) ....

  • RobinF replied 6 years ago

Bummer but blisters are no fun.

  • Bijou replied 6 years ago

Well I can see why you were seduced to buy them, they are indeed very beautiful.

  • Joy replied 6 years ago

Good for you! You don't let handsome loafers boss you around.

  • Sisi replied 6 years ago

Oh, what a shame, they are really beautiful. I think it's the pointy toe. In the past I have had some pointy-toed shoes  that felt ok at the beginning but by the end of the day left my feet sore. Now I always buy round- or oval-shaped shoes , despite I like pointy toes very much!.

Wish I lived next to you ... ;-)

  • cindysmith replied 6 years ago

Cat, I'd totally ship them to you if you want them

  • Helena replied 6 years ago

Life's too short for uncomfortable shoes!

  • Janet replied 6 years ago

Yeah, those are gorgeous and I’m wondering if you wear a size 8-8.5... :-) But so sorry that they don’t meet the comfort standard for you. That’s so frustrating, I know.

  • replied 6 years ago

OH_ Cindy- for goodness sakes- what size are you???
If you are close to my size, I will sent you a pre-paid box-- just throw all that fabulous footwear you want to pitch into the dang box and send it to me-will ya!  I will be more than happy to take those cowboy boots, these lovely loafers and anything else off your hands-LOL!

  • cindysmith replied 6 years ago

I'm a 7.5-8 and these are an 8. If someone wants them DM me

  • replied 6 years ago

They are gorgeous.  I commend you for dumping "sitting shoes."

  • The Cat replied 6 years ago

Thank you so much, cindysmith, but I'm in Scandinavia, and I have difficult feet and need 8,5 or 9 now, so your beautiful shoes will probably not fit me ... But perhaps a fabber who lives closer to you will be the lucky receiver.

  • replied 6 years ago

Oh Cindy- of course you are a size 7.5- 8.
I don’t wear shoes as much as “canoes”- size 11. Boohoo, boohoo.
Ok - to update the tally.... in my next life I want—A) a normal pants’ inseam, B) straight hair and C) a normal shoe size that would let me wear foot wear like you have.

  • Angie replied 6 years ago

Fun but bossy shoes. Next. Good job.

  • rachylou replied 6 years ago

What! Babouche are definitely not supposed to be uncomfortable!
